From my point of view!!

Hey! Sorry about not writing for a while, but i have been on vacation. Now that I'm back I'll try to write more often. Anyway, I have gone to Chattanooga, and to a summer camp so far. I have met a lot of new people and friends. One person I have met has become one of my very good friends. Her name is Leah. She has cancer and has fought everyday for her life. She has an older sister, Kiley, who got her license 2 weeks ago. Kiley has helped their parents a lot with the stress of making sure Leah gets where she needs to go. Trips to the hospital are pretty regular for them. They say it is their home away from home. Leah is a very smart and loving person, who has a great perspective on life. She says,"People often make fun of my being bald, but I try my hardest to forgive and forget. I feel like the happier other people become from me the happier I am. The more I can to for others the more others will do to make cancer go away. I have found that the more people enjoy life the more I enjoy life." I can't get those words to stop running through my head. I wish more people had a mind like her. Thanks for reading and I will try to write more. I pray that Leah and her family get through this rough time. Keep them in all of your prayers.

What makes one day important in the grand scheme of life?

Ok, so this question was asked to me by a teacher. I have been thinking of an answer and here's what I've got: To me this means that everyday should count. Seeing that everyday is a gift. You never know when your life will end so why not make everyday count? By that I mean love like you've never loved before, forgive like there's no tomorrow, and look at things like you've never looked at them before. If someone says they are truely sorry than forgive and forget. If someone's not loveable love tham no matter what anyone else says or does about it. Just look at people and things to a point that there's no other way to look at it! Have an open mind:)

"If you look at the world at 50-the same as you did at 20-you have wasted 30 years."           -Muhammad Ali

I love this quote! I think it is right, I mean let's act, for just a minute, like we are 20. We can drive, we can move out of our parent's house, we are basically free! Now take a minute and think about someone who is 50 that you know. Think of them acting the way a 20 year old would. To me it's disturbing! Look at how wise they are now instead of when they were 20! They really don't act like a 20 year old and if they did then they really did waste 30 years of there life. You know, not learning from there mistakes.
